ASHI

ASHI is the national organization that, for over 20 years, has brought nationally accepted standards to the Home Inspection profession. Every ASHI member has a certification number on his or her membership card.

All inspectors in New York State must be licensed. This process can be accomplished in as little as one month. It does not required the individual to do without one complete inspection. To gain ASHI membership may take years. To become a member an individual must:

ASHI membership does not come easily and is the only assurance of experience and demonstrated technical competence. It is routine for non-members to stress that they "perform their inspections to ASHI standards."

So why not have the real thing . . . hire an ASHI member.
